I would like to thank Rick for staying open late on Friday August 20th. I originally purchased a ring for my girlfriend from the Hock Shop in Newmarket. It was sent to Barrie for sizing and soldering. I was called to say it was ready, she didn't want to wait till Saturday so we rushed up to Barrie during rush hour traffic. We arrived about 5 minutes after closing but Rick stuck around for me. Outstanding customer service. Thank you.

Visit for Sunday June 23, 2019. Have visited numerous times before. Prices are reasonable and staff helpful. Great selection of tools, electronics, and jewelry. Typically purchase digital games for the kids.

Generally a good experience, especially when it comes to the guy in charge of the guitars. This is going a few months back but he has great advice, some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time.

This post is months overdue! How it slipped my mind I have no idea.. oh yea I do KIDS! 😆 I never actually been to the location prior to this experience and wow. I cannot express how much we were helped, cared for and respected. Going in there with 3 kids is not a breeze. The staff were so patient, kind and knowledgeable. Thanks to Dakotah we saved hundreds of dollars! I am blown away at the honesty and integrity at this Hock Shop. Wow thank you for your lovely service for a Mama who knows NOTHING about gaming or the products that go with it. Also I can’t explain the patience of the woman helping us with games, my kids kept changing their mind and took a while to choose, she was nothing but an angel to us and so patient. This may not be a regular review for a buy and sell shop but it is beyond deserved. From the bottom of my heart! Thank you!

Great selection of games, DVDs, and other cool stuff! Staff are friendly for the most part, and you can sometimes snag a great find for an amazing price! I've been a Hock Shop customer since the mid-1990's, and I'll keep popping in to this location whenever I can :)
